HYDRA-GYP is a natural flocculant that is based on technical grade micronized calcium sulphate with a particle size of only 20 microns, this greatly enhances the effectiveness of the product and returns a quicker result compared to other products. HYDRA-GYP is a liquid formulation which offers the applicator reduced labour costs, minimal OH&S concerns and no dust problems unlike dry powdered products.

HYDRA-GYP is commonly applied at 50-70 litres per megalitre of water and should be diluted with 1 part product to 1 part water to provide best results. HYDRA-GYP is currently applied for flocculating water in the following uses:

•  Roadside water storages

•  Industrial waste water

•  Farm dams

•  Potable water

REVEGETATION:

There are three main points of revegetation that must not be overlooked:

1)  Soil pH

2)  Soil structure

3)  Moisture holding

Many sites may require the soil pH to be increased to improve the availability of soil nutrients, or the soil structure may be compacted leading to poor germination and development. The moisture holding ability of the soil should be enhanced to assist with germination and development of the seed.
