During August and September  Peter Leach of Ultimate Agri-Products, Andrew Franklin ( Northern Agronomic Services) and Patrick Press (Sumitomo Chemicals) did a series of shed talks through Northern Queensland . The aim of these talks for me was to highlight the benefits of our liquid Lime (Ph Plus) , Dolomite (Dolomite Plus) and Gypsum (Gyp Flo) products.



  





We did presentations at Mareeba , Tully and Innisfail where we spoke about application  methods for mangoes, sugar cane and bananas.
 

In talking to the banana growers I highlighted the benefits of our products:
 
 - The fine particle size (5micron) making the product available to plant first soil second opposite to granular     product .
 - The ease of application - it can be applied via drip systems or by boom spray
 - The mixing rate is 1 litre of product to 5 litres of water .

With bananas the best results have been obtained with four applications of 15 litres per hectare applied quarterly.
